23 And not only the creation, but we ourselves, who have (A)the firstfruits of the Spirit, (B)groan inwardly as (C)we wait eagerly for adoption as sons, (D)the redemption of our bodies. 24 For (E)in this hope we were saved. Now (F)hope that is seen is not hope. For who hopes for what he sees? 25 But if we hope for what we do not see, we (G)wait for it with patience.
26 Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For (H)we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but (I)the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words.

23 Not only so, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit,(A) groan(B) inwardly as we wait eagerly(C) for our adoption to sonship, the redemption of our bodies.(D) 24 For in this hope we were saved.(E) But hope that is seen is no hope at all.(F) Who hopes for what they already have? 25 But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently.(G)
26 In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit(H) himself intercedes for us(I) through wordless groans.
