Romans 8:11-13
New Living Translation

11 The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you.

12 Therefore, dear brothers and sisters,[a] you have no obligation to do what your sinful nature urges you to do. 13 For if you live by its dictates, you will die. But if through the power of the Spirit you put to death the deeds of your sinful nature,[b] you will live.

11 And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead(A) is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies(B) because of[a] his Spirit who lives in you.

12 Therefore, brothers and sisters, we have an obligation—but it is not to the flesh, to live according to it.(C) 13 For if you live according to the flesh, you will die;(D) but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body,(E) you will live.(F)
