Romans 7:23-25
New Testament for Everyone
23 but I see another “law” in my limbs and organs, fighting a battle against the law of my mind, and taking me off into captivity in the law of sin which is in my limbs and organs.
24 What a miserable person I am! Who is going to rescue me from the body of this death? 25 Thank God—through Jesus our Messiah and Lord! So then, left to my own self I am enslaved to God’s law with my mind, but to sin’s law with my human flesh.

23 but I see another law at work in me, waging war(A) against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin(B) at work within me. 24 What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body that is subject to death?(C) 25 Thanks be to God, who delivers me through Jesus Christ our Lord!(D)
So then, I myself in my mind am a slave to God’s law,(E) but in my sinful nature[a] a slave to the law of sin.(F)
