knowing this, that our (A)old [a]self was (B)crucified with Him, in order that our (C)body of sin might be [b]done away with, so that we would no longer be slaves to sin; for (D)the one who has died is [c]freed from sin.

Now (E)if we have died with Christ, we believe that (F)we shall also live with Him, knowing that Christ, having been (G)raised from the dead, [d]is never to die again; (H)death no longer is master over Him. 10 For [e]the death that He died, He died to sin once for all time; but [f]the life that He lives, He lives to [g]God. 11 So you too, consider yourselves to be (I)dead to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus.

12 Therefore sin is not to (J)reign in your mortal body so that you obey its lusts, 13 and do not go on (K)presenting [h]the parts of your body to sin as [i]instruments of unrighteousness; but (L)present yourselves to God as those who are alive from the dead, and [j]your body’s parts as [k]instruments of righteousness for God. 14 For (M)sin shall not (N)be master over you, for (O)you are not under [l]the Law but (P)under grace.

For we know that our old self(A) was crucified with him(B) so that the body ruled by sin(C) might be done away with,[a] that we should no longer be slaves to sin(D) because anyone who has died has been set free from sin.(E)

Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him.(F) For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead,(G) he cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over him.(H) 10 The death he died, he died to sin(I) once for all;(J) but the life he lives, he lives to God.

11 In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin(K) but alive to God in Christ Jesus. 12 Therefore do not let sin reign(L) in your mortal body so that you obey its evil desires. 13 Do not offer any part of yourself to sin as an instrument of wickedness,(M) but rather offer yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer every part of yourself to him as an instrument of righteousness.(N) 14 For sin shall no longer be your master,(O) because you are not under the law,(P) but under grace.(Q)
