Not only that, but we (A)rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering (B)produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and (C)hope does not put us to shame, because God's love (D)has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.

For (E)while we were still weak, at the right time (F)Christ died for the ungodly. For one will scarcely die for a righteous person—though perhaps for a good person one would dare even to die— but (G)God shows his love for us in that (H)while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Since, therefore, (I)we have now been justified by his blood, much more shall we be saved by him from (J)the wrath of God. 10 For if (K)while we were enemies (L)we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, now that we are reconciled, shall we be saved by (M)his life. 11 More than that, we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received (N)reconciliation.

But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.(I)

Since we have now been justified(J) by his blood,(K) how much more shall we be saved from God’s wrath(L) through him! 10 For if, while we were God’s enemies,(M) we were reconciled(N) to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life!(O) 11 Not only is this so, but we also boast in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation.(P)
