Romans 5:15-19

New King James Version

¹⁵But the free gift is not like the ^[a]offense. For if by the one man’s offense many died, much more the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, abounded ^(A)to many. ¹⁶And the gift is not like that which came through the one who sinned. For the judgment which came from one offense resulted in condemnation, but the free gift which came from many ^[b]offenses resulted in justification. ¹⁷For if by the one man’s ^[c]offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.)

¹⁸Therefore, as through ^[d]one man’s offense judgment came to all men, resulting in condemnation, even so through ^(B)one^[e] Man’s righteous act the free gift came ^(C)to all men, resulting in justification of life. ¹⁹For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so also by ^(D)one Man’s obedience many will be made righteous.

¹⁵But the gift is not like the trespass. For if the many died by the trespass of the one man,^(A) how much more did God’s grace and the gift that came by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ,^(B) overflow to the many! ¹⁶Nor can the gift of God be compared with the result of one man’s sin: The judgment followed one sin and brought condemnation, but the gift followed many trespasses and brought justification. ¹⁷For if, by the trespass of the one man, death^(C) reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God’s abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life^(D) through the one man, Jesus Christ!

¹⁸Consequently, just as one trespass resulted in condemnation for all people,^(E) so also one righteous act resulted in justification^(F) and life^(G) for all people. ¹⁹For just as through the disobedience of the one man^(H) the many were made sinners,^(I) so also through the obedience^(J) of the one man the many will be made righteous.
