Romans 4:5-8
New American Standard Bible
5 But to the one who does not work, but (A)believes in Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is credited as righteousness, 6 just as David also speaks of the blessing of the person to whom God credits righteousness apart from works:
7 “(B)Blessed are those whose lawless deeds have been forgiven,
And whose sins have been covered.
8 (C)Blessed is the man whose sin the Lord will not (D)take into account.”
Romans 4:5-8
International Standard Version
5 However, to someone who does not work, but simply believes in the one who justifies the ungodly, his faith is credited as righteousness. 6 Likewise, David also speaks of the blessedness of the person whom God regards as righteous apart from actions:
7 “How blessed are those whose iniquities are forgiven
and whose sins are covered!
8 How blessed is the person whose sins
the Lord[a] will never charge against him!”[b]
