Romans 3:27-31
English Standard Version
27 (A)Then what becomes of our boasting? It is excluded. By what kind of law? By a law of works? No, but by the law of faith. 28 For we hold that one is justified by faith (B)apart from works of the law. 29 Or (C)is God the God of Jews only? Is he not the God of Gentiles also? Yes, of Gentiles also, 30 since (D)God is one—who will justify the circumcised by faith and (E)the uncircumcised through faith. 31 Do we then overthrow the law by this faith? By no means! On the contrary, we uphold the law.

Common English Bible
27 What happens to our bragging? It’s thrown out. With which law? With what we have accomplished under the Law? 28 No, not at all, but through the law of faith. We consider that a person is treated as righteous by faith, apart from what is accomplished under the Law. 29 Or is God the God of Jews only? Isn’t God the God of Gentiles also? Yes, God is also the God of Gentiles. 30 Since God is one, then the one who makes the circumcised righteous by faith will also make the one who isn’t circumcised righteous through faith. 31 Do we then cancel the Law through this faith? Absolutely not! Instead, we confirm the Law.

New International Version
27 Where, then, is boasting?(A) It is excluded. Because of what law? The law that requires works? No, because of the law that requires faith. 28 For we maintain that a person is justified by faith apart from the works of the law.(B) 29 Or is God the God of Jews only? Is he not the God of Gentiles too? Yes, of Gentiles too,(C) 30 since there is only one God, who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through that same faith.(D) 31 Do we, then, nullify the law by this faith? Not at all! Rather, we uphold the law.
