But by your hard and impenitent heart you are storing up wrath for yourself on the day of wrath when God’s righteous judgment will be revealed. For he will render to every man according to his works: to those who by patience in well-doing seek for glory and honor and immortality, he will give eternal life; but for those who are factious and do not obey the truth, but obey wickedness, there will be wrath and fury. There will be tribulation and distress for every human being who does evil, the Jew first and also the Greek, 10 but glory and honor and peace for every one who does good, the Jew first and also the Greek. 11 For God shows no partiality.

God “will repay each person according to what they have done.”[a](C) To those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor(D) and immortality,(E) he will give eternal life.(F) But for those who are self-seeking and who reject the truth and follow evil,(G) there will be wrath and anger.(H) There will be trouble and distress for every human being who does evil:(I) first for the Jew, then for the Gentile;(J) 10 but glory, honor and peace for everyone who does good: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile.(K) 11 For God does not show favoritism.(L)
