Unbelief and Its Consequences

¹⁸ For ^(A)the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of people who ^(B)suppress the truth ^[a]in unrighteousness, ¹⁹ because ^(C)that which is known about God is evident ^[b]within them; for God made it evident to them. ²⁰ For ^(D)since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, that is, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ^(E)being understood by what has been made, so that they are without excuse.

²⁵ For they exchanged the truth of God for ^[a](A)falsehood, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, ^(B)who is blessed ^[b]forever. Amen.

¹⁴ For when Gentiles who do not have ^[a]the Law ^[b](A)instinctively perform the requirements of the Law, these, though not having ^[c]the Law, are a law to themselves, ¹⁵ in that they show ^(B)the work of the Law written in their hearts, their conscience testifying and their thoughts alternately accusing or else defending them, ¹⁶ on the day when, ^(C)according to my gospel, ^(D)God will judge the secrets of mankind through Christ Jesus.
