¹⁴ Rather, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ,^(A) and do not think about how to gratify the desires of the flesh.^[a](B)

⁵³ For the perishable^(A) must clothe itself with the imperishable,^(B) and the mortal with immortality.

²⁷ for all of you who were baptized into Christ^(A) have clothed yourselves with Christ.^(B)

⁹ Do not lie to each other,^(A) since you have taken off your old self^(B) with its practices
