^12 (A)The night is almost gone, and ^(B)the day is at hand. Therefore let us lay aside ^(C)the deeds of darkness and put on ^(D)the armor of light.

⁴ for the ^(A)weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but ^[a]divinely powerful ^(B)for the tearing down of strongholds,

^11 (A)Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the ^(B)schemes of the devil. ¹² For our ^(C)struggle is not against ^[a](D)flesh and blood, but ^(E)against the rulers, against the authorities, against the ^(F)world forces of this ^(G)darkness, against the ^(H)spiritual forces of wickedness in ^(I)the heavenly places. ¹³ Therefore, take up ^(J)the full armor of God, so that you will be able to ^(K)resist in ^(L)the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm. ¹⁴ Stand firm therefore, ^(M)having girded your loins with truth, and having ^(N)put on the breastplate of righteousness, ¹⁵ and having ^(O)shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace. ^16 [b]In addition to all, having taken up the ^(P)shield of faith with which you will be able to extinguish all the ^(Q)flaming arrows of ^(R)the evil one, ¹⁷ also receive ^(S)the helmet of salvation, and the ^(T)sword of the Spirit, which is ^(U)the word of God,

^18 (V)praying at all times ^[c]with all ^(W)prayer and petition ^(X)in the Spirit, and to this end, ^(Y)being on the alert with all ^(Z)perseverance and ^(AA)petition for all the saints, ¹⁹ as well as ^(AB)on my behalf, that ^[d]words may be given to me ^(AC)in the opening of my mouth, to make known with ^(AD)boldness ^(AE)the mystery of the gospel— ²⁰ for which I am an ^(AF)ambassador ^(AG)in ^[e]chains—so that ^[f]in proclaiming it I may speak ^(AH)boldly, ^(AI)as I ought to speak.

^21 (AJ)But that you also may know about all my affairs, ^[g]how I am doing, ^(AK)Tychicus, ^(AL)the beloved brother and faithful servant in the Lord, will make everything known to you. ^22 [h](AM)I have sent him to you for this very purpose, so that you may know ^[i]our circumstances, and that he may ^(AN)encourage your hearts.

^23 (AO)Peace be to the brothers, and ^(AP)love with faith, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. ²⁴ Grace be with all those who love our Lord Jesus Christ ^[j]with incorruptible love.
