Romans 12:4-8
New International Version
4 For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function,(A) 5 so in Christ we, though many, form one body,(B) and each member belongs to all the others. 6 We have different gifts,(C) according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying,(D) then prophesy in accordance with your[a] faith;(E) 7 if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach;(F) 8 if it is to encourage, then give encouragement;(G) if it is giving, then give generously;(H) if it is to lead,[b] do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully.

Romans 12:4-8
King James Version
4 For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office:
5 So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.
6 Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith;
7 Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering: or he that teacheth, on teaching;
8 Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness.

4 For (A)as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function, 5 so (B)we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another. 6 Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is (C)given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, let us (D)prophesy in proportion to our faith; 7 or ministry, let us use it in our ministering; (E)he who teaches, in teaching; 8 (F)he who exhorts, in exhortation; (G)he who gives, with liberality; (H)he who leads, with diligence; he who shows mercy, (I)with cheerfulness.

Intelligibility in Worship
14 Follow the way of love(A) and eagerly desire(B) gifts of the Spirit,(C) especially prophecy.(D) 2 For anyone who speaks in a tongue[a](E) does not speak to people but to God. Indeed, no one understands them;(F) they utter mysteries(G) by the Spirit. 3 But the one who prophesies speaks to people for their strengthening,(H) encouraging(I) and comfort. 4 Anyone who speaks in a tongue(J) edifies(K) themselves, but the one who prophesies(L) edifies the church.

Prophecy and Tongues
14 Pursue love, and (A)desire spiritual gifts, (B)but especially that you may prophesy. 2 For he who (C)speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God, for no one understands him; however, in the spirit he speaks mysteries. 3 But he who prophesies speaks (D)edification and (E)exhortation and comfort to men. 4 He who speaks in a tongue edifies himself, but he who prophesies edifies the church.
