16 Live in harmony with one another; do not be haughty but associate with the lowly.[a] Do not be conceited.[b] 17 Do not repay anyone evil for evil; consider what is good before all people.[c] 18 If possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all people.[d]

16 Live in harmony with one another.(A) Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position.[a] Do not be conceited.(B)
17 Do not repay anyone evil for evil.(C) Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone.(D) 18 If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.(E)
