¹⁷So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

¹⁷Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message,^(A) and the message is heard through the word about Christ.^(B)

¹⁶All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

¹⁶All Scripture is God-breathed^(A) and is useful for teaching,^(B) rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness,^(C)
