¹⁷ So faith comes from ^(A)hearing, and hearing by ^(B)the word ^[a]of Christ.

² This is the only thing I want to learn from you: did you receive the Spirit by the works of ^[a]the Law, or by ^[b](A)hearing with faith?

¹³ And for this reason we also ^(A)thank God without ceasing that when you received the ^(B)word of God which you heard from us, you accepted it ^(C)not as the word of men, but for what it really is, the word of God, ^(D)which also is at work in you who believe.
