Romans 1:6-15
English Standard Version
6 including you who are (A)called to belong to Jesus Christ,
7 To all those in Rome who are loved by God and called to be saints:
(B)Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Longing to Go to Rome
8 First, (C)I thank my God through Jesus Christ for all of you, (D)because your faith is proclaimed in all the world. 9 (E)For God is my witness, (F)whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of his Son, (G)that without ceasing I mention you 10 always in my prayers, asking that somehow (H)by God's will I may now at last succeed in coming to you. 11 For (I)I long to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift to strengthen you— 12 that is, that we may be mutually encouraged (J)by each other's faith, both yours and mine. 13 I do not want you to be unaware, brothers,[a] that (K)I have often intended to come to you (but (L)thus far have been prevented), in order that I may reap some (M)harvest among you as well as among the rest of the Gentiles. 14 (N)I am under obligation both to Greeks and to (O)barbarians,[b] both to the wise and to the foolish. 15 So I am eager to preach the gospel to you also who are in Rome.

Paul’s Longing to Visit Rome
8 First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for all of you,(E) because your faith is being reported all over the world.(F) 9 God, whom I serve(G) in my spirit in preaching the gospel of his Son, is my witness(H) how constantly I remember you 10 in my prayers at all times;(I) and I pray that now at last by God’s will(J) the way may be opened for me to come to you.(K)
11 I long to see you(L) so that I may impart to you some spiritual gift(M) to make you strong— 12 that is, that you and I may be mutually encouraged by each other’s faith. 13 I do not want you to be unaware,(N) brothers and sisters,[a](O) that I planned many times to come to you (but have been prevented from doing so until now)(P) in order that I might have a harvest among you, just as I have had among the other Gentiles.
14 I am obligated(Q) both to Greeks and non-Greeks, both to the wise and the foolish. 15 That is why I am so eager to preach the gospel also to you who are in Rome.(R)
