Romans 1:28-32

²⁸And just as they did not see fit ^[a]to acknowledge God, ^(A)God gave them up to a depraved mind, to do those things that are not proper, ²⁹people having been filled with all unrighteousness, wickedness, greed, and evil; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, and malice; they are ^(B)gossips, ³⁰slanderers, ^[b]^(C)haters of God, insolent, arrogant, boastful, inventors of evil, ^(D)disobedient to parents, ³¹without understanding, untrustworthy, ^(E)unfeeling, and unmerciful; ³²and although they know the ordinance of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of ^(F)death, they not only do the same, but also ^(G)approve of those who practice them.

²⁸Furthermore, because they did not think it worthwhile to keep knowing God fully, God delivered them to degraded minds to perform acts that should not be done. ²⁹They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed, and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, quarreling, deceit, and viciousness. They are gossips, ³⁰slanderers, God-haters, haughty, arrogant, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to their parents, ³¹foolish, faithless, heartless, and ruthless. ³²Although they know God’s just requirement—that those who practice such things deserve to die—they not only do these things but even applaud others who practice them.

²⁸Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over^(A) to a depraved mind, so that they do what ought not to be done. ²⁹They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips,^(B) ³⁰slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents;^(C) ³¹they have no understanding, no fidelity, no love,^(D) no mercy. ³²Although they know God’s righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death,^(E) they not only continue to do these very things but also approve^(F) of those who practice them.
