17 For in it (A)the righteousness of God is revealed [a]from faith to faith; as it is written, “[b](B)But the righteous will live by faith.”

18 For (C)the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who (D)suppress the truth [c]in unrighteousness, 19 because (E)that which is known about God is evident [d]within them; for God made it evident to them.

God’s Wrath Against Sinful Humanity
18 The wrath of God(D) is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of people, who suppress the truth by their wickedness, 19 since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them.(E)
