Principios que rigen problemas de conciencia

14 Aceptad (A) al que es débil en la fe(B), pero no para juzgar sus opiniones. Uno tiene fe en que puede comer de todo(C), pero el que es débil(D) solo come legumbres. El que come no menosprecie al que no come(E), y el que no come no juzgue(F) al que come, porque Dios lo ha aceptado(G). ¿Quién eres tú para juzgar al criado[a] de otro(H)? Para su propio amo[b] está en pie o cae, y en pie se mantendrá, porque poderoso es el Señor para sostenerlo en pie. Uno juzga que un día es superior a otro(I), otro juzga iguales todos los días. Cada cual esté plenamente convencido según su propio sentir[c](J). El que guarda cierto[d] día, para el Señor lo guarda; y el que come, para el Señor come, pues da gracias a Dios(K); y el que no come, para el Señor se abstiene[e], y da gracias a Dios. Porque ninguno de nosotros vive para sí mismo, y ninguno muere para sí mismo(L); pues si vivimos, para el Señor vivimos, y si morimos, para el Señor morimos; por tanto, ya sea que vivamos o que muramos(M), del Señor somos. Porque para esto Cristo murió y resucitó[f](N), para ser Señor(O) tanto de los muertos como de los vivos. 10 Pero tú, ¿por qué juzgas a tu hermano? O también, tú, ¿por qué menosprecias(P) a tu hermano? Porque todos compareceremos ante el tribunal de Dios[g](Q). 11 Porque está escrito:

Vivo yodice el Señorque ante mí se doblará toda rodilla,
y toda lengua alabará[h] a Dios(R).

12 De modo que cada uno de nosotros dará a Dios cuenta de sí mismo(S).

13 Por consiguiente, ya no nos juzguemos(T) los unos a los otros, sino más bien decidid esto: no poner obstáculo o piedra de tropiezo al hermano(U). 14 Yo sé, y estoy convencido en el Señor Jesús, de que nada es inmundo en sí mismo; pero para el que estima que algo es inmundo, para él lo es(V). 15 Porque si por causa de la comida tu hermano se entristece, ya no andas conforme al amor(W). No destruyas con tu comida a aquel por quien Cristo murió(X). 16 Por tanto, no permitáis que se hable mal de[i] lo que para vosotros es bueno(Y). 17 Porque el reino de Dios no es comida ni bebida(Z), sino justicia y paz y gozo en el Espíritu Santo(AA). 18 Porque el que de esta manera sirve a Cristo(AB), es aceptable a Dios y aprobado por los hombres(AC). 19 Así que procuremos lo que contribuye a la paz(AD) y a la edificación mutua(AE). 20 No destruyas la obra de Dios por causa de la comida(AF). En realidad, todas las cosas son limpias(AG), pero son malas para el hombre que escandaliza[j] a otro al comer(AH). 21 Es mejor[k] no comer carne, ni beber vino, ni hacer nada en que tu hermano tropiece[l](AI). 22 La fe que tú tienes, tenla conforme a tu propia convicción[m] delante de Dios. Dichoso el que no se condena a sí mismo(AJ) en lo que aprueba. 23 Pero el que duda(AK), si come se condena, porque no lo hace por fe; y todo lo que no procede de fe, es pecado.

不可論斷弟兄或輕看弟兄

14 你們要接納信心軟弱的人,不要論斷引起爭論的事。 有人相信所有的食物都可以吃,信心軟弱的人卻只吃蔬菜。 吃的人不要輕看不吃的人,不吃的人也不要批評吃的人,因為 神已經接納他了。 你是誰,竟然批評別人的家僕呢?他或站穩或跌倒,只和自己的主人有關;但他必定站穩,因為主能夠使他站穩。 有人認為這日比那日好,也有人認為日日都是一樣;只要各人自己心意堅定就可以了。 守日的人是為主守的,吃的人是為主吃的,因為他感謝 神;不吃的人是為主不吃,他也感謝 神。 我們沒有一個人為自己活,也沒有一個人為自己死。我們若活著,是為主而活; 我們若死了,是為主而死。所以,我們無論活著或是死了,總是屬於主的人。 為了這緣故,基督死了,又活過來,就是要作死人和活人的主。 10 這樣,你為甚麼批評你的弟兄呢?為甚麼又輕看你的弟兄呢?我們都要站在 神的審判臺前; 11 因為經上記著:

“主說,我指著我的永生起誓:

萬膝必向我跪拜,

萬口必稱頌 神。”

12 這樣看來,我們各人都要把自己的事向 神交代。

不可使弟兄跌倒

13 所以,我們不要再彼此批評了;倒要立定主意,決不作絆倒弟兄或使他跌倒的事。 14 我知道,並且在主耶穌裡深信,沒有一樣東西的本身是不潔的,但如果有人認為是不潔的,對他來說那東西就成為不潔了。 15 如果你為了食物使你的弟兄憂愁,你就不再是憑著愛心行事了。你不可因著你的食物,使基督已經替他死了的人滅亡。 16 所以,不可使你們看為好的被人毀謗; 17 因為 神的國不在於吃喝,而在於公義、和睦,以及聖靈裡的喜樂。 18 這樣服事基督的人,必蒙 神喜悅,又得眾人嘉許。 19 所以,我們總要追求和睦的事,與彼此造就的事。 20 不可因食物的緣故拆毀 神的工作。一切都是潔淨的,但人若因食物絆倒弟兄,對他來說,這就是惡事了。 21 無論是吃肉,是喝酒,或是甚麼使你的弟兄跌倒的事,一律不要作才好。 22 你所信的,你自己要在 神面前持守。人在經自己考驗後認可的事上能夠不自責,他就有福了。 23 但如果有人存著疑惑的心去吃,他就被定罪了,因為他不是出於信心。凡不是出於信心的,都是罪。

14 Him that is weak in the faith receive ye, but not to doubtful disputations.

For one believeth that he may eat all things: another, who is weak, eateth herbs.

Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him.

Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.

One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.

He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks.

For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself.

For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's.

For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living.

10 But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.

11 For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.

12 So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.

13 Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother's way.

14 I know, and am persuaded by the Lord Jesus, that there is nothing unclean of itself: but to him that esteemeth any thing to be unclean, to him it is unclean.

15 But if thy brother be grieved with thy meat, now walkest thou not charitably. Destroy not him with thy meat, for whom Christ died.

16 Let not then your good be evil spoken of:

17 For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.

18 For he that in these things serveth Christ is acceptable to God, and approved of men.

19 Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.

20 For meat destroy not the work of God. All things indeed are pure; but it is evil for that man who eateth with offence.

21 It is good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor any thing whereby thy brother stumbleth, or is offended, or is made weak.

22 Hast thou faith? have it to thyself before God. Happy is he that condemneth not himself in that thing which he alloweth.

23 And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.

The Law of Liberty

14 Receive(A) one who is weak in the faith, but not to disputes over doubtful things. For one believes he (B)may eat all things, but he who is weak eats only vegetables. Let not him who eats despise him who does not eat, and (C)let not him who does not eat judge him who eats; for God has received him. (D)Who are you to judge another’s servant? To his own master he stands or falls. Indeed, he will be made to stand, for God is able to make him stand.

(E)One person esteems one day above another; another esteems every day alike. Let each be fully convinced in his own mind. He who (F)observes the day, observes it to the Lord; [a]and he who does not observe the day, to the Lord he does not observe it. He who eats, eats to the Lord, for (G)he gives God thanks; and he who does not eat, to the Lord he does not eat, and gives God thanks. For (H)none of us lives to himself, and no one dies to himself. For if we (I)live, we live to the Lord; and if we die, we die to the Lord. Therefore, whether we live or die, we are the Lord’s. For (J)to this end Christ died [b]and rose and lived again, that He might be (K)Lord of both the dead and the living. 10 But why do you judge your brother? Or why do you show contempt for your brother? For (L)we shall all stand before the judgment seat of [c]Christ. 11 For it is written:

(M)As I live, says the Lord,
Every knee shall bow to Me,
And every tongue shall confess to God.”

12 So then (N)each of us shall give account of himself to God. 13 Therefore let us not judge one another [d]anymore, but rather resolve this, (O)not to put a stumbling block or a cause to fall in our brother’s way.

The Law of Love

14 I know and am convinced by the Lord Jesus (P)that there is nothing unclean of itself; but to him who considers anything to be unclean, to him it is unclean. 15 Yet if your brother is grieved because of your food, you are no longer walking in love. (Q)Do not destroy with your food the one for whom Christ died. 16 (R)Therefore do not let your good be spoken of as evil; 17 (S)for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and (T)peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. 18 For he who serves Christ in [e]these things (U)is acceptable to God and approved by men.

19 (V)Therefore let us pursue the things which make for peace and the things by which (W)one may [f]edify another. 20 (X)Do not destroy the work of God for the sake of food. (Y)All things indeed are pure, (Z)but it is evil for the man who eats with [g]offense. 21 It is good neither to eat (AA)meat nor drink wine nor do anything by which your brother stumbles [h]or is offended or is made weak. 22 [i]Do you have faith? Have it to yourself before God. (AB)Happy is he who does not condemn himself in what he approves. 23 But he who doubts is condemned if he eats, because he does not eat from faith; for (AC)whatever is not from faith is [j]sin.

14 Infirmum autem in fide assumite, non in disceptationibus cogitationum.

Alius enim credit se manducare omnia: qui autem infirmus est, olus manducet.

Is qui manducat, non manducantem non spernat: et qui non manducat, manducantem non judicet: Deus enim illum assumpsit.

Tu quis es, qui judicas alienum servum? domino suo stat, aut cadit: stabit autem: potens est enim Deus statuere illum.

Nam alius judicat diem inter diem: alius autem judicat omnem diem: unusquisque in suo sensu abundet.

Qui sapit diem, Domino sapit, et qui manducat, Domino manducat: gratias enim agit Deo. Et qui non manducat, Domino non manducat, et gratias agit Deo.

Nemo enim nostrum sibi vivit, et nemo sibi moritur.

Sive enim vivemus, Domino vivimus: sive morimur, Domino morimur. Sive ergo vivimus, sive morimur, Domini sumus.

In hoc enim Christus mortuus est, et resurrexit: ut et mortuorum et vivorum dominetur.

10 Tu autem quid judicas fratrem tuum? aut tu quare spernis fratrem tuum? omnes enim stabimus ante tribunal Christi.

11 Scriptum est enim: Vivo ego, dicit Dominus, quoniam mihi flectetur omne genu: et omnis lingua confitebitur Deo.

12 Itaque unusquisque nostrum pro se rationem reddet Deo.

13 Non ergo amplius invicem judicemus: sed hoc judicate magis, ne ponatis offendiculum fratri, vel scandalum.

14 Scio, et confido in Domino Jesu, quia nihil commune per ipsum, nisi ei qui existimat quid commune esset, illi commune est.

15 Si enim propter cibum frater tuus contristatur, jam non secundum caritatem ambulas. Noli cibo tuo illum perdere, pro quo Christus mortuus est.

16 Non ergo blasphemetur bonum nostrum.

17 Non est enim regnum Dei esca et potus: sed justitia, et pax, et gaudium in Spiritu Sancto:

18 qui enim in hoc servit Christo, placet Deo, et probatus est hominibus.

19 Itaque quae pacis sunt, sectemur: et quae aedificationis sunt, in invicem custodiamus.

20 Noli propter escam destruere opus Dei, omnia quidem sunt munda: sed malum est homini, qui per offendiculum manducat.

21 Bonum est non manducare carnem, et non bibere vinum, neque in quo frater tuus offenditur, aut scandalizatur, aut infirmatur.

22 Tu fidem habes? penes temetipsum habe coram Deo. Beatus qui non judicat semetipsum in eo quod probat.

23 Qui autem discernit, si manducaverit, damnatus est: quia non ex fide. Omne autem, quod non est ex fide, peccatum est.
