New International Version
5 One person considers one day more sacred than another;(A) another considers every day alike. Each of them should be fully convinced in their own mind. 6 Whoever regards one day as special does so to the Lord. Whoever eats meat does so to the Lord, for they give thanks to God;(B) and whoever abstains does so to the Lord and gives thanks to God. 7 For none of us lives for ourselves alone,(C) and none of us dies for ourselves alone.

5 One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.
6 He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks.
7 For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself.

5 Isang tao ang kumikilalang ang isang araw ay higit na mahalaga kaysa sa ibang araw. Ang ibang tao naman ay kumikilalang ang bawat araw ay magkakatulad. Ang bawat isa ay magkaroon ng tiyak na kaisipan sa kaniyang sarili patungkol sa bagay na ito. 6 Ang taong nagpapahalaga sa isang araw ay nagpapahalaga noon sa Panginoon. Ang hindi nagpapahalaga sa isang araw ay hindi nagpapahalaga noon sa Panginoon. Siya na kumakain ay kumakain para sa Panginoon sapagkat nagpapasalamat siya sa Diyos. Siya na hindi kumakain ay hindi kumakain para sa Panginoon at nagpapasalamat siya sa Diyos. 7 Ito ay sapagkat walang sinuman sa atin ang nabubuhay para sa kaniyang sarili lamang at walang sinumang tao na namamatay para sa kaniyang sarili lamang.
