23 Şi ce dacă El a procedat astfel ca să-Şi facă cunoscută bogăţia slavei Sale faţă de nişte vase ale îndurării, pe care le pregătise mai dinainte pentru slavă, 24 incluzându-ne şi pe noi, pe care ne-a chemat nu numai dintre iudei, ci şi dintre neamuri? 25 Aşa cum spune în Osea:
„Pe cel ce nu era poporul Meu îl voi numi «Popor al Meu»,
şi pe cea care nu era iubită, o voi numi «Iubită».[a]
