16 Je vous recommande Phoebé, notre soeur, qui est diaconesse de l'Église de Cenchrées,
2 afin que vous la receviez en notre Seigneur d'une manière digne des saints, et que vous l'assistiez dans les choses où elle aurait besoin de vous, car elle en a donné aide à plusieurs et à moi-même.
3 Saluez Prisca et Aquilas, mes compagnons d'oeuvre en Jésus Christ,
4 qui ont exposé leur tête pour sauver ma vie; ce n'est pas moi seul qui leur rends grâces, ce sont encore toutes les Églises des païens.
5 Saluez aussi l'Église qui est dans leur maison. Saluez Épaïnète, mon bien-aimé, qui a été pour Christ les prémices de l'Asie.
6 Saluez Marie, qui a pris beaucoup de peine pour vous.
7 Saluez Andronicus et Junias, mes parents et mes compagnons de captivité, qui jouissent d'une grande considération parmi les apôtres, et qui même ont été en Christ avant moi.
8 Saluez Amplias, mon bien-aimé dans le Seigneur.
9 Saluez Urbain, notre compagnon d'oeuvre en Christ, et Stachys, mon bien-aimé.
10 Saluez Apellès, qui est éprouvé en Christ. Saluez ceux de la maison d'Aristobule.
11 Saluez Hérodion, mon parent. Saluez ceux de la maison de Narcisse qui sont dans le Seigneur.
12 Saluez Tryphène et Tryphose, qui travaillent pour le Seigneur. Saluez Perside, la bien-aimée, qui a beaucoup travaillé pour le Seigneur.
13 Saluez Rufus, l'élu du Seigneur, et sa mère, qui est aussi la mienne.
14 Saluez Asyncrite, Phlégon, Hermès, Patrobas, Hermas, et les frères qui sont avec eux.
15 Saluez Philologue et Julie, Nérée et sa soeur, et Olympe, et tous les saints qui sont avec eux.
16 Saluez-vous les uns les autres par un saint baiser. Toutes les Églises de Christ vous saluent.
17 Je vous exhorte, frères, à prendre garde à ceux qui causent des divisions et des scandales, au préjudice de l'enseignement que vous avez reçu. Éloignez-vous d'eux.
18 Car de tels hommes ne servent point Christ notre Seigneur, mais leur propre ventre; et, par des paroles douces et flatteuses, ils séduisent les coeurs des simples.
19 Pour vous, votre obéissance est connue de tous; je me réjouis donc à votre sujet, et je désire que vous soyez sages en ce qui concerne le bien et purs en ce qui concerne le mal.
20 Le Dieu de paix écrasera bientôt Satan sous vos pieds. Que la grâce de notre Seigneur Jésus Christ soit avec vous!
21 Timothée, mon compagnon d'oeuvre, vous salue, ainsi que Lucius, Jason et Sosipater, mes parents.
22 Je vous salue dans le Seigneur, moi Tertius, qui ai écrit cette lettre.

25 A celui qui peut vous affermir selon mon Évangile et la prédication de Jésus Christ, conformément à la révélation du mystère caché pendant des siècles,

16 I commend to you Phoebe our sister, who is a servant of the church in (A)Cenchrea, 2 (B)that you may receive her in the Lord (C)in a manner worthy of the saints, and assist her in whatever business she has need of you; for indeed she has been a helper of many and of myself also.
Greeting Roman Saints
3 Greet (D)Priscilla and Aquila, my fellow workers in Christ Jesus, 4 who risked their own necks for my life, to whom not only I give thanks, but also all the churches of the Gentiles. 5 Likewise greet (E)the church that is in their house.
Greet my beloved Epaenetus, who is (F)the firstfruits of [a]Achaia to Christ. 6 Greet Mary, who labored much for us. 7 Greet Andronicus and Junia, my countrymen and my fellow prisoners, who are of note among the (G)apostles, who also (H)were in Christ before me.

Avoid Divisive Persons
17 Now I urge you, brethren, note those (K)who cause divisions and offenses, contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and (L)avoid them. 18 For those who are such do not serve our Lord [d]Jesus Christ, but (M)their own belly, and (N)by smooth words and flattering speech deceive the hearts of the simple. 19 For (O)your obedience has become known to all. Therefore I am glad on your behalf; but I want you to be (P)wise in what is good, and [e]simple concerning evil. 20 And (Q)the God of peace (R)will crush Satan under your feet shortly.

16 Recomendo-vos, pois, Febe, nossa irmã, a qual serve na igreja que está em Cencreia, 2 para que a recebais no Senhor, como convém aos santos, e a ajudeis em qualquer coisa que de vós necessitar; porque tem hospedado a muitos, como também a mim mesmo.
3 Saudai a Priscila e a Áquila, meus cooperadores em Cristo Jesus, 4 os quais pela minha vida expuseram a sua cabeça; o que não só eu lhes agradeço, mas também todas as igrejas dos gentios. 5 Saudai também a igreja que está em sua casa. 3 Greet Priscilla[c] and Aquila,(E) my co-workers(F) in Christ Jesus.(G) 4 They risked their lives for me. Not only I but all the churches of the Gentiles are grateful to them.
5 Greet also the church that meets at their house.(H)
