5 Giustificati dunque per fede abbiamo pace presso Dio per mezzo di Gesú Cristo, nostro Signore,
2 per mezzo del quale abbiamo anche avuto, mediante la fede, l'accesso a questa grazia nella quale stiamo saldi e ci vantiamo nella speranza della gloria di Dio.
3 E non soltanto questo, ma ci vantiamo anche nelle afflizioni, sapendo che l'afflizione produce perseveranza,
4 la perseveranza esperienza e l'esperienza speranza.
5 Or la speranza non confonde, perché l'amore di Dio è stato sparso nei nostri cuori per mezzo dello Spirito Santo che ci è stato dato.
6 Perché, mentre eravamo ancora senza forza, Cristo a suo tempo è morto per gli empi.
7 Difficilmente infatti qualcuno muore per un giusto; forse qualcuno ardirebbe morire per un uomo dabbene.
8 Ma Dio manifesta il suo amore verso di noi in questo che, mentre eravamo ancora peccatori, Cristo è morto per noi.
9 Molto piú dunque, essendo ora giustificati nel suo sangue, saremo salvati dall'ira per mezzo di lui.
10 Infatti, se mentre eravamo nemici siamo stati riconciliati con Dio per mezzo della morte del suo Figlio, molto piú ora, che siamo stati riconciliati, saremo salvati mediante la sua vita.
11 E non solo, ma anche ci vantiamo in Dio per mezzo del Signor nostro Gesú Cristo, tramite il quale ora abbiamo ricevuto la riconciliazione.
12 Perciò, come per mezzo di un solo uomo il peccato è entrato nel mondo e per mezzo del peccato la morte, cosí la morte si è estesa a tutti gli uomini, perché tutti hanno peccato;
13 perché, fino a che fu promulgata la legge, il peccato era nel mondo; ora il peccato non è imputato se non vi è legge;
14 ma la morte regnò da Adamo fino a Mosé anche su quelli che non avevano peccato con una trasgressione simile a quella di Adamo, che è figura di colui che doveva venire.
15 La grazia però non è come la trasgressione; se infatti per la trasgressione di uno solo quei molti sono morti, molto piú la grazia di Dio e il dono per la grazia di un uomo, Gesú Cristo, hanno abbondato verso molti altri.
16 Riguardo al dono, non è avvenuto come per quell'uno che ha peccato, perché il giudizio produsse la condanna da una sola trasgressione, ma la grazia produsse la giustificazione da molte trasgressioni.
17 Infatti, se per la trasgressione di quell'uno solo la morte ha regnato a causa di quell'uno, molto di piú coloro che ricevono l'abbondanza della grazia e del dono della giustizia regneranno nella vita per mezzo di quell'uno, che è Gesú Cristo.
18 Per cui, come per una sola trasgressione la condanna si è estesa a tutti gli uomini, cosí pure con un solo atto di giustizia la grazia si è estesa a tutti gli uomini in giustificazione di vita.
19 Infatti, come per la disubbidienza di un solo uomo i molti sono stati costituiti peccatori, cosí ancora per l'ubbidienza di uno solo i molti saranno costituiti giusti.
20 Or la legge intervenne affinché la trasgressione abbondasse; ma dove il peccato è abbondato, la grazia è sovrabbondata,
21 affinché come il peccato ha regnato nella morte, cosí anche la grazia regni per la giustizia a vita eterna per mezzo di Gesú Cristo, nostro Signore.

2 我 們 又 藉 著 他 ， 因 信 得 進 入 現 在 所 站 的 這 恩 典 中 ， 並 且 歡 歡 喜 喜 盼 望 神 的 榮 耀 。
3 不 但 如 此 ， 就 是 在 患 難 中 也 是 歡 歡 喜 喜 的 ； 因 為 知 道 患 難 生 忍 耐 ，
4 忍 耐 生 老 練 ， 老 練 生 盼 望 ；
5 盼 望 不 至 於 羞 恥 ， 因 為 所 賜 給 我 們 的 聖 靈 將 神 的 愛 澆 灌 在 我 們 心 裡 。
6 因 我 們 還 軟 弱 的 時 候 ， 基 督 就 按 所 定 的 日 期 為 罪 人 死 。
7 為 義 人 死 ， 是 少 有 的 ； 為 仁 人 死 、 或 者 有 敢 做 的 。

10 因 為 我 們 作 仇 敵 的 時 候 ， 且 藉 著 神 兒 子 的 死 ， 得 與 神 和 好 ； 既 已 和 好 ， 就 更 要 因 他 的 生 得 救 了 。
11 不 但 如 此 ， 我 們 既 藉 著 我 主 耶 穌 基 督 得 與 神 和 好 ， 也 就 藉 著 他 以 神 為 樂 。
12 這 就 如 罪 是 從 一 人 入 了 世 界 ， 死 又 是 從 罪 來 的 ； 於 是 死 就 臨 到 眾 人 ， 因 為 眾 人 都 犯 了 罪 。
13 沒 有 律 法 之 先 ， 罪 已 經 在 世 上 ； 但 沒 有 律 法 ， 罪 也 不 算 罪 。
14 然 而 從 亞 當 到 摩 西 ， 死 就 作 了 王 ， 連 那 些 不 與 亞 當 犯 一 樣 罪 過 的 ， 也 在 他 的 權 下 。 亞 當 乃 是 那 以 後 要 來 之 人 的 豫 像 。
15 只 是 過 犯 不 如 恩 賜 ， 若 因 一 人 的 過 犯 ， 眾 人 都 死 了 ， 何 況 神 的 恩 典 ， 與 那 因 耶 穌 基 督 一 人 恩 典 中 的 賞 賜 ， 豈 不 更 加 倍 的 臨 到 眾 人 麼 ？
16 因 一 人 犯 罪 就 定 罪 ， 也 不 如 恩 賜 ， 原 來 審 判 是 由 一 人 而 定 罪 ， 恩 賜 乃 是 由 許 多 過 犯 而 稱 義 。
17 若 因 一 人 的 過 犯 ， 死 就 因 這 一 人 作 了 王 ， 何 況 那 些 受 洪 恩 又 蒙 所 賜 之 義 的 ， 豈 不 更 要 因 耶 穌 基 督 一 人 在 生 命 中 作 王 麼 ？
18 如 此 說 來 ， 因 一 次 的 過 犯 ， 眾 人 都 被 定 罪 ； 照 樣 ， 因 一 次 的 義 行 ， 眾 人 也 就 被 稱 義 得 生 命 了 。
19 因 一 人 的 悖 逆 ， 眾 人 成 為 罪 人 ； 照 樣 ， 因 一 人 的 順 從 ， 眾 人 也 成 為 義 了 。
20 律 法 本 是 外 添 的 ， 叫 過 犯 顯 多 ； 只 是 罪 在 那 裡 顯 多 ， 恩 典 就 更 顯 多 了 。

Peace and Hope
5 Therefore, since we have been justified(A) through faith,(B) we[a] have peace(C) with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,(D) 2 through whom we have gained access(E) by faith into this grace in which we now stand.(F) And we[b] boast in the hope(G) of the glory of God. 3 Not only so, but we[c] also glory in our sufferings,(H) because we know that suffering produces perseverance;(I) 4 perseverance, character; and character, hope. 5 And hope(J) does not put us to shame, because God’s love(K) has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit,(L) who has been given to us.
6 You see, at just the right time,(M) when we were still powerless,(N) Christ died for the ungodly.(O) 7 Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die. 8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.(P)
9 Since we have now been justified(Q) by his blood,(R) how much more shall we be saved from God’s wrath(S) through him! 10 For if, while we were God’s enemies,(T) we were reconciled(U) to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life!(V) 11 Not only is this so, but we also boast in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation.(W)
Death Through Adam, Life Through Christ
12 Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man,(X) and death through sin,(Y) and in this way death came to all people, because all sinned(Z)—
13 To be sure, sin was in the world before the law was given, but sin is not charged against anyone’s account where there is no law.(AA) 14 Nevertheless, death reigned from the time of Adam to the time of Moses, even over those who did not sin by breaking a command, as did Adam,(AB) who is a pattern of the one to come.(AC)
15 But the gift is not like the trespass. For if the many died by the trespass of the one man,(AD) how much more did God’s grace and the gift that came by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ,(AE) overflow to the many! 16 Nor can the gift of God be compared with the result of one man’s sin: The judgment followed one sin and brought condemnation, but the gift followed many trespasses and brought justification. 17 For if, by the trespass of the one man, death(AF) reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God’s abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life(AG) through the one man, Jesus Christ!
18 Consequently, just as one trespass resulted in condemnation for all people,(AH) so also one righteous act resulted in justification(AI) and life(AJ) for all people. 19 For just as through the disobedience of the one man(AK) the many were made sinners,(AL) so also through the obedience(AM) of the one man the many will be made righteous.
20 The law was brought in so that the trespass might increase.(AN) But where sin increased, grace increased all the more,(AO) 21 so that, just as sin reigned in death,(AP) so also grace(AQ) might reign through righteousness to bring eternal life(AR) through Jesus Christ our Lord.
