10 Ang pagibig ay hindi gumagawa ng masama sa kaniyang kapuwa: (A)ang pagibig nga ay siyang katuparan ng kautusan.
11 At ito, yamang nakikilala ang panahon, na ngayo'y kapanahunan nang (B)magsigising kayo sa pagkakatulog: sapagka't ngayon ay lalong malapit na sa atin ang kaligtasan kay sa nang tayo'y magsisampalataya nang una.
12 (C)Ang gabi ay totoong malalim, at ang araw ay malapit na: (D)iwaksi nga natin ang mga gawa ng kadiliman, at (E)ating isakbat ang mga sandata ng kaliwanagan.

11 Bukod dito, alam ninyo ang panahon, na ngayo'y oras na upang magising kayo sa pagkakatulog. Sapagkat ngayon ay higit na malapit na sa atin ang kaligtasan kaysa noong tayo'y sumampalataya nang una.
12 Malalim na ang gabi, at ang araw ay malapit na. Kaya't iwaksi na natin ang mga gawa ng kadiliman, at ating isakbat ang mga sandata ng liwanag.

10 Love never ·hurts [does wrong/evil to] a neighbor, so loving is ·obeying all [fulfilling] the law.
11 Do this ·because you know the times in which we live [L knowing the time/season]. It is ·now [or already the] ·time [hour] for you to wake up from your sleep, because our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed. 12 The night [C a metaphor for the present evil age] is ·almost finished [advancing], and the day [C the time of final judgment and reward] is ·almost here [near; or at hand]. So we should ·stop doing [put aside; cast off] ·things that belong to [L the deeds/works of] darkness and ·take up the weapons [or put on the armor] ·used for fighting in [or that belong to; L of] the light.

10 Love does no harm to a neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.(A)
The Day Is Near
11 And do this, understanding the present time: The hour has already come(B) for you to wake up from your slumber,(C) because our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed. 12 The night is nearly over; the day is almost here.(D) So let us put aside the deeds of darkness(E) and put on the armor(F) of light.
