²⁹And just as Isaiah foretold,

    “Unless Adonai-Tzva’ot had left us seed,
    we would have become like Sodom and
    resembled Gomorrah.”^[a]

²⁹It is just as Isaiah said previously:

“Unless the Lord Almighty^(A)
had left us descendants,
we would have become like Sodom,
we would have been like Gomorrah.”^[a]^(B)

²⁹And as Isaiah predicted,

^(A)^(B)“If the Lord of hosts had not left us offspring,
^(C)we would have been like Sodom
and become like Gomorrah.”

²⁹And as Esaias said before, Except the Lord of Sabaoth had left us a seed, we had been as Sodoma, and been made like unto Gomorrha.
