Romans 5:17-6:2

¹⁷ For if by the transgression of the one, death reigned ^(A)through the one, much more those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will ^(B)reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.

¹⁸ So then as through ^(C)one transgression ^[a]there resulted condemnation to all men, even so through one ^(D)act of righteousness ^[b]there resulted ^(E)justification of life to all men. ¹⁹ For as through the one man’s disobedience ^(F)the many ^(G)were appointed sinners, even so through ^(H)the obedience of the One ^(I)the many will be appointed righteous. ²⁰ Now ^[c](J)the Law came in so that the transgression would increase, but where sin increased, ^(K)grace abounded all the more, ²¹ so that, as ^(L)sin reigned in death, even so ^(M)grace would reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Dead to Sin, Alive to God

6 ^(N)What shall we say then? Are we to ^(O)continue in sin so that grace may increase? ^2 (P)May it never be! How shall we who ^(Q)died to sin still live in it?
