²⁶ For this reason ^(A)God gave them over to ^(B)degrading passions; for their women exchanged natural relations for that which is contrary to nature, ²⁷ and likewise the men, too, abandoned natural relations ^[a]with women and burned in their desire toward one another, ^(C)males with males committing ^[b]shameful acts and receiving in ^[c]their own persons the due penalty of their error.

²⁸ And just as they did not see fit ^[d]to acknowledge God, ^(D)God gave them up to a depraved mind, to do those things that are not proper, ²⁹ people having been filled with all unrighteousness, wickedness, greed, and evil; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, and malice; they are ^(E)gossips, ³⁰ slanderers, ^[e](F)haters of God, insolent, arrogant, boastful, inventors of evil, ^(G)disobedient to parents, ³¹ without understanding, untrustworthy, ^(H)unfeeling, and unmerciful; ³² and although they know the ordinance of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of ^(I)death, they not only do the same, but also ^(J)approve of those who practice them.

The Impartiality of God

2 Therefore you have ^(K)no excuse, ^[f]you foolish person, ^(L)everyone of you who passes judgment; for ^[g]in that matter in which ^(M)you judge someone else, you condemn yourself; for you who judge practice the same things. ² And we know that the judgment of God ^[h]rightly falls upon those who practice such things.
