² For the law of ^(A)the Spirit of life ^(B)has set you^[a] free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death.

⁴ in order that ^(A)the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us, ^(B)who walk not according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.

⁴ For ^(A)Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.^[a]

⁵ The aim of our charge is love ^(A)that issues from a pure heart and ^(B)a good conscience and ^(C)a sincere faith.

²⁰ But you, beloved, ^(A)building yourselves up in your most holy faith and ^(B)praying in the Holy Spirit, ^21 (C)keep yourselves in the love of God, ^(D)waiting for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ that leads to eternal life.

^14 (A)Strive for peace with everyone, and for the ^(B)holiness ^(C)without which no one will see the Lord.

¹⁷ And Jesus answered him, ^(A)“Blessed are you, ^(B)Simon Bar-Jonah! For ^(C)flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, ^(D)but my Father who is in heaven. ¹⁸ And I tell you, ^(E)you are Peter, and ^(F)on this rock^[a] I will build my church, and ^(G)the gates of ^(H)hell^[b] shall not prevail against it.

²⁸ And ^(A)God has appointed in the church first ^(B)apostles, second ^(C)prophets, third teachers, then ^(D)miracles, then ^(E)gifts of healing, ^(F)helping, ^(G)administrating, and ^(H)various kinds of tongues.
