¹⁵ For you did not receive a spirit of slavery to fall back into fear.^(A) Instead, you received the Spirit of adoption,^(B) by whom we cry out, “Abba,^[a] Father!” ^(C)

⁵ to redeem those under the law, so that we might receive adoption as sons.^(A)

⁷ So you are no longer a slave^(A) but a son,^(B) and if a son, then God has made you an heir.^(C)
