⁹ For this is the word of promise: ^(A)“At this time I will come and Sarah shall have a son.”

¹⁰ And He said, “I will certainly return to you ^(A)according to the time of life, and behold, ^(B)Sarah your wife shall have a son.”

(Sarah was listening in the tent door which was behind him.)

^14 (A)Is anything too hard for the Lord? ^(B)At the appointed time I will return to you, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.”

²¹ But My ^(A)covenant I will establish with Isaac, ^(B)whom Sarah shall bear to you at this ^(C)set time next year.”

¹¹ By faith ^(A)Sarah herself also received strength to conceive seed, and ^(B)she^[a] bore a child when she was past the age, because she judged Him ^(C)faithful who had promised. ¹² Therefore from one man, and him as good as ^(D)dead, were born as many as the ^(E)stars of the sky in multitude—innumerable as the sand which is by the seashore.

² For Sarah ^(A)conceived and bore Abraham a son in his old age, ^(B)at the set time of which God had spoken to him.
