³¹ however, Israel, ^(A)pursuing a law of righteousness, did not ^(B)arrive at that law.

³ For not knowing about ^(A)God’s righteousness and ^(B)seeking to establish their own, they did not subject themselves to the righteousness of God.

⁷ What then? What ^(A)Israel is seeking, it has not obtained, but ^[a]those who were chosen obtained it, and the rest were ^(B)hardened;

^11 (A)I say then, they did not stumble so as to fall, did they? ^[a](B)Far from it! But by their wrongdoing ^(C)salvation has come to the Gentiles, to ^(D)make them jealous. ¹² Now if their wrongdoing proves to be riches for the world, and their failure, riches for the Gentiles, how much more will their ^[b](E)fulfillment be!

¹⁵ For if their rejection proves to be the ^(A)reconciliation of the world, what will their acceptance be but ^(B)life from the dead?
