²³ and that He might make known ^(A)the riches of His glory on the vessels of mercy, which He had ^(B)prepared beforehand for glory,

⁴ Or do you despise ^(A)the riches of His goodness, ^(B)forbearance, and ^(C)longsuffering, ^(D)not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance?

^2 (A)elect ^(B)according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, ^(C)in sanctification of the Spirit, for ^(D)obedience and ^(E)sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ:

^(F)Grace to you and peace be multiplied.

A Heavenly Inheritance

^3 (G)Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who ^(H)according to His abundant mercy ^(I)has begotten us again to a living hope ^(J)through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, ⁴ to an inheritance ^[a]incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, ^(K)reserved in heaven for you, ^5 (L)who are kept by the power of God through faith for salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

¹⁶ that He would grant you, ^(A)according to the riches of His glory, ^(B)to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in ^(C)the inner man,

¹⁰ For we are ^(A)His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

²⁰ Moreover ^(A)the law entered that the offense might abound. But where sin abounded, grace ^(B)abounded much more, ²¹ so that as sin reigned in death, even so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

²¹ Therefore if anyone cleanses himself from the latter, he will be a vessel for honor, ^[a]sanctified and useful for the Master, ^(A)prepared for every good work.

^27 (A)To them God willed to make known what are ^(B)the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: ^[a]which is ^(C)Christ in you, ^(D)the hope of glory.

⁷ that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in ^(A)His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.
