¹¹ Likewise you also, ^[a]reckon yourselves to be ^(A)dead indeed to sin, but ^(B)alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

^3 (A)For you died, ^(B)and your life is hidden with Christ in God. ^4 (C)When Christ who is ^(D)our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in ^(E)glory.

^5 (F)Therefore put to death ^(G)your members which are on the earth: ^(H)fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, ^(I)which is idolatry.

² Certainly not! How shall we who ^(A)died to sin live any longer in it?

²⁰ For ^(A)you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body ^[a]and in your spirit, which are God’s.

¹⁷ And ^(A)whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.

¹³ And do not present your ^(A)members as ^[a]instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but ^(B)present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God.

¹⁹ For I ^(A)through the law ^(B)died to the law that I might ^(C)live to God. ²⁰ I have been ^(D)crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh ^(E)I live by faith in the Son of God, ^(F)who loved me and gave Himself for me.

From Suffering to Glory

¹⁸ For I consider that ^(A)the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

^31 (A)but these are written that ^(B)you may believe that Jesus ^(C)is the Christ, the Son of God, ^(D)and that believing you may have life in His name.
