¹¹ So you also must consider yourselves ^(A)dead to sin and alive to God in Christ Jesus.

³ For ^(A)you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. ⁴ When Christ ^(B)who is your^[a] life ^(C)appears, then you also will appear with him ^(D)in glory.

^5 (E)Put to death therefore ^(F)what is earthly in you:^{[b] (G)}sexual immorality, impurity, ^(H)passion, evil desire, and covetousness, ^(I)which is idolatry.

^20 (A)for you were bought with a price. ^(B)So glorify God in your body.

² By no means! How can ^(A)we who died to sin still live in it?

¹⁷ And ^(A)whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, ^(B)giving thanks to God the Father through him.

^13 (A)Do not present your members to sin as instruments for unrighteousness, but ^(B)present yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life, and your members to God as instruments for righteousness.

¹⁹ For through the law I ^(A)died to the law, so that I might ^(B)live to God. ²⁰ I have been ^(C)crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives ^(D)in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, ^(E)who loved me and ^(F)gave himself for me.

Future Glory

¹⁸ For I consider that the sufferings of this present time ^(A)are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us.

^5 (A)you yourselves like living stones are being built up as ^(B)a spiritual house, to be ^(C)a holy priesthood, ^(D)to offer spiritual sacrifices ^(E)acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.
