²⁴ but for ours also. It will be reckoned to us who believe^[a] in him who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead,^(A)

²⁴ But God raised him up, having released him from the agony of death, because it was impossible for him to be held in its power.^(A)

²¹ Through him you have come to trust in God, who raised him from the dead and gave him glory, so that your trust and hope are in God.

⁹ because^[a] if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe^[b] in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.^{(A) 10} For one believes^[c] with the heart, leading to righteousness, and one confesses with the mouth, leading to salvation.

³⁰ But God raised him from the dead,^(A)

Benediction

²⁰ Now may the God of peace, who brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the eternal covenant,^{(A) 21} make you complete in everything good^[a] so that you may do his will, as he works among us^[b] that which is pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory forever.^[c] Amen.^(B)

¹⁸ so that, with the eyes of your heart enlightened, you may perceive what is the hope to which he has called you, what are the riches of his glorious inheritance among the saints, ¹⁹ and what is the immeasurable greatness of his power for us who believe, according to the working of his great power. ²⁰ God^[a] put this power to work in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly places,^[b](A)

³⁹ For the promise is for you, for your children, and for all who are far away, everyone whom the Lord our God calls to him.”^(A)

¹⁴ And just as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so must the Son of Man be lifted up,^{(A) 15} that whoever believes in him may have eternal life.^[a](B)

¹⁶ “For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life.^(C)

¹⁶ The one who believes and is baptized will be saved, but the one who does not believe will be condemned.
