³ And do you think this, O man, you who judge those practicing such things, and doing the same, that you will escape the judgment of God?

³² who, ^(A)knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things ^(B)are deserving of death, not only do the same but also ^(C)approve of those who practice them.

God’s Righteous Judgment

2 Therefore you are ^(D)inexcusable, O man, whoever you are who judge, ^(E)for in whatever you judge another you condemn yourself; for you who judge practice the same things.

³ For when they say, “Peace and safety!” then ^(A)sudden destruction comes upon them, ^(B)as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape.

¹⁴ But He said to him, ^(A)“Man, who made Me a judge or an arbitrator over you?”

³³ Serpents, ^(A)brood^[a] of vipers! How can you escape the condemnation of hell?

^58 (A)And after a little while another saw him and said, “You also are of them.”

But Peter said, “Man, I am not!”

⁵³ Or do you think that I cannot now pray to My Father, and He will provide Me with ^(A)more than twelve legions of angels?

^19 (A)And he said, “O man greatly beloved, ^(B)fear not! Peace be to you; be strong, yes, be strong!”

So when he spoke to me I was strengthened, and said, “Let my lord speak, for you have strengthened me.”

¹⁸ Since he despised the oath by breaking the covenant, and in fact ^(A)gave^[a] his hand and still did all these things, he shall not escape.’ ”
