⁷ Accept one another,^(A) then, just as Christ accepted you, in order to bring praise to God.

⁴⁰ “Anyone who welcomes you welcomes me,^(A) and anyone who welcomes me welcomes the one who sent me.^(B)

³⁴ “A new command^(A) I give you: Love one another.^(B) As I have loved you, so you must love one another.^(C)

² through whom we have gained access^(A) by faith into this grace in which we now stand.^(B) And we^[a] boast in the hope^(C) of the glory of God.

¹⁸ I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened^(A) in order that you may know the hope to which he has called^(B) you, the riches^(C) of his glorious inheritance^(D) in his holy people,^(E)

The Weak and the Strong

14 Accept the one whose faith is weak,^(A) without quarreling over disputable matters. ² One person’s faith allows them to eat anything, but another, whose faith is weak, eats only vegetables.^{(B) 3} The one who eats everything must not treat with contempt^(C) the one who does not, and the one who does not eat everything must not judge^(D) the one who does, for God has accepted them.

¹⁰ on the day^(A) he comes to be glorified^(B) in his holy people and to be marveled at among all those who have believed. This includes you, because you believed our testimony to you.^(C)

¹¹ With this in mind, we constantly pray for you,^(D) that our God may make you worthy^(E) of his calling,^(F) and that by his power he may bring to fruition your every desire for goodness^(G) and your every deed prompted by faith.^{(H) 12} We pray this so that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you,^(I) and you in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.^[a]

⁶ to the praise of his glorious grace,^(A) which he has freely given us in the One he loves.^{(B) 7} In him we have redemption^(C) through his blood,^(D) the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches^(E) of God’s grace ⁸ that he lavished on us. With all wisdom and understanding,

⁴⁸ Then he said to them, “Whoever welcomes this little child in my name welcomes me; and whoever welcomes me welcomes the one who sent me.^(A) For it is the one who is least among you all who is the greatest.”^(B)
