²⁴ I hope to see you in passing as I go ^(A)to Spain, and ^(B)to be helped on my journey there by you, once I have enjoyed your company for a while.

²⁸ When therefore I have completed this and have delivered to them what has been collected,^[a] I will leave ^(A)for Spain by way of you.

¹² that is, that we may be mutually encouraged ^(A)by each other's faith, both yours and mine.

³ So, ^(A)being sent on their way by the church, they passed through both Phoenicia and Samaria, ^(B)describing in detail the conversion of the Gentiles, and ^(C)brought great joy to all ^(D)the brothers.^[a]

¹⁶ I wanted to visit you ^(A)on my way to Macedonia, and to come back to you from Macedonia and have you send me on my way to Judea.

Plans for Travel

^5 (A)I will visit you after passing through ^(B)Macedonia, for ^(C)I intend to pass through Macedonia, ⁶ and perhaps I will stay with you or even spend the winter, so that you may ^(D)help me on my journey, wherever I go. ⁷ For I do not want to see you now ^(E)just in passing. I hope to spend some time with you, ^(F)if the Lord permits.

⁵ When our days there were ended, we departed and went on our journey, and they all, with wives and children, ^(A)accompanied us until we were outside the city. And ^(B)kneeling down on the beach, we prayed
