Love Your Neighbor^(A)

⁸ Owe no one anything except to love one another, for ^(B)he who loves another has fulfilled the law.

¹⁰ Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore ^(A)love is the fulfillment of the law.

³⁹ And the second is like it: ^(A)‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ ^40 (B)On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”

¹⁴ For ^(A)all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: ^(B)“You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”

¹² Therefore, ^(A)whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for ^(B)this is the Law and the Prophets.

^7 (A)Render therefore to all their due: taxes to whom taxes are due, customs to whom customs, fear to whom fear, honor to whom honor.

⁸ If you really fulfill the royal law according to the Scripture, ^(A)“You shall love your neighbor as yourself,” you do well;

^14 (A)But above all these things ^(B)put on love, which is the ^(C)bond of perfection.

^34 (A)A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another.
