^13 (A)Let us walk ^[a]properly, as in the day, ^(B)not in revelry and drunkenness, ^(C)not in lewdness and lust, ^(D)not in strife and envy.

²¹ envy, ^[a]murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that ^(A)those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

¹⁸ And ^(A)do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit,

^12 (A)that you may walk properly toward those who are outside, and that you may lack nothing.

^6 (A)He who says he abides in Him ^(B)ought himself also to walk just as He walked.

³ For this is ^(A)the will of God, ^(B)your sanctification: ^(C)that you should abstain from sexual immorality; ^4 (D)that each of you should know how to possess his own vessel in sanctification and honor, ^5 (E)not in passion of lust, ^(F)like the Gentiles ^(G)who do not know God;

Walk in Wisdom

^15 (A)See then that you walk ^[a]circumspectly, not as fools but as wise,

³ For we have spent enough of our past ^[a]lifetime in doing the will of the Gentiles—when we walked in lewdness, lusts, drunkenness, revelries, drinking parties, and abominable idolatries. ⁴ In regard to these, they think it strange that you do not run with them in the same flood of dissipation, speaking evil of you. ⁵ They will give an account to Him who is ready ^(A)to judge the living and the dead.

^12 (A)that you would walk worthy of God ^(B)who calls you into His own kingdom and glory.
