⁹ Love must be without hypocrisy.^(A) Detest evil;^(B) cling to what is good.

¹³ Share with the saints in their needs;^(A) pursue hospitality.^(B)

¹¹ So if you have not been faithful with the unrighteous money, who will trust you with what is genuine? ¹² And if you have not been faithful with what belongs to someone else, who will give you what is your own? ¹³ No^(A) household slave can be the slave of two masters, since either he will hate^(B) one and love the other, or he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You can’t be slaves to both God and money.”

¹⁷ In the same way, every good tree produces good fruit, but a bad tree produces bad fruit.

¹⁸ A good tree can’t produce bad fruit; neither can a bad tree produce good fruit.
