^6 (A)Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them: if ^(B)prophecy, ^(C)in proportion to our faith;

^7 (A)I wish that all were ^(B)as I myself am. But ^(C)each has his own gift from God, ^(D)one of one kind and one of another.

^10 (A)As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, ^(B)as good stewards of God's varied grace: ¹¹ whoever speaks, as one who speaks ^(C)oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves ^(D)by the strength that God supplies—in order that in everything ^(E)God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. ^(F)To him belong glory and ^(G)dominion forever and ever. Amen.

Gifts of Grace

³ For ^(A)by the grace given to me I say to everyone among you ^(B)not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think with sober judgment, ^(C)each according to ^(D)the measure of faith that God has assigned.

²⁸ And ^(A)God has appointed in the church first ^(B)apostles, second ^(C)prophets, third teachers, then ^(D)miracles, then ^(E)gifts of healing, ^(F)helping, ^(G)administrating, and ^(H)various kinds of tongues. ²⁹ Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Do all work miracles? ³⁰ Do all possess gifts of healing? Do all speak with tongues? Do all interpret? ³¹ But ^(I)earnestly desire the higher gifts.

And I will show you a still more excellent way.

¹¹ And ^(A)he gave the ^(B)apostles, the prophets, the ^(C)evangelists, the ^(D)shepherds^[a] and teachers,^[b]

³ On the other hand, the one who prophesies speaks to people for their upbuilding and encouragement and consolation. ⁴ The one who speaks in a tongue builds up himself, but the one who prophesies builds up the church. ⁵ Now I want you all to speak in tongues, but ^(A)even more to prophesy. The one who prophesies is greater than the one who speaks in tongues, unless someone interprets, so that the church may be built up.

⁴ Now ^(A)there are varieties of gifts, but ^(B)the same Spirit; ⁵ and ^(C)there are varieties of service, but ^(D)the same Lord; ⁶ and there are varieties of activities, but it is ^(E)the same God who empowers them all in everyone. ^7 (F)To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good. ⁸ For to one is given through the Spirit the utterance of ^(G)wisdom, and to another the utterance of ^(H)knowledge according to the same Spirit, ⁹ to another ^(I)faith by the same Spirit, to another ^(J)gifts of healing by the one Spirit, ¹⁰ to another ^(K)the working of miracles, to another ^(L)prophecy, to another ^(M)the ability to distinguish between spirits, to another ^(N)various kinds of tongues, to another ^(O)the interpretation of tongues. ¹¹ All these are empowered by one and the same Spirit, ^(P)who apportions to each one individually ^(Q)as he wills.

² And if I have ^(A)prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, ^(B)so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.
