¹⁴ Pursue peace with everyone and the holiness without which no one will see the Lord.

¹⁹ Let us then pursue what makes for peace and for mutual upbuilding.^(A)

The Fruit of the Spirit

²² By contrast, the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness,^(A)

¹⁶ For where there is envy and selfish ambition, there will also be disorder and wickedness of every kind.^{(A) 17} But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without a trace of partiality or hypocrisy.^{(B) 18} And the fruit of righteousness^[a] is sown in peace by those who make peace.^(C)
