⁹ because, if ^(A)you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and ^(B)believe in your heart ^(C)that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

Acknowledge Christ Before Men

⁸ “And I tell you, ^(A)everyone who acknowledges me before men, the Son of Man also will acknowledge ^(B)before the angels of God,

³¹ And they said, ^(A)“Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you ^(B)and your household.”

¹¹ and ^(A)every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is ^(B)Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

^32 (A)So everyone who acknowledges me before men, I also will acknowledge before my Father who is in heaven, ³³ but ^(B)whoever denies me before men, ^(C)I also will deny before my Father who is in heaven.

² By this you know the Spirit of God: ^(A)every spirit that confesses that ^(B)Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, ³ and every spirit ^(C)that does not confess Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you heard was coming and ^(D)now is in the world already.

^21 (A)who through him are believers in God, ^(B)who raised him from the dead and ^(C)gave him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.

¹⁴ And if Christ has not been raised, then our preaching is in vain and your faith is in vain. ¹⁵ We are even found to be misrepresenting God, because we testified about God that ^(A)he raised Christ, whom he did not raise if it is true that the dead are not raised. ¹⁶ For if the dead are not raised, not even Christ has been raised. ¹⁷ And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile and ^(B)you are still in your sins. ¹⁸ Then those also who ^(C)have fallen asleep in Christ have perished.

^34 (A)Who is to condemn? Christ Jesus is the one who died—more than that, who was raised—^(B)who is at the right hand of God, ^(C)who indeed is interceding for us.^[a]
