²⁶ Because of this, God gave them over^(A) to shameful lusts.^(B) Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones.^(C)

⁷ In a similar way, Sodom and Gomorrah^(A) and the surrounding towns^(B) gave themselves up to sexual immorality and perversion. They serve as an example of those who suffer the punishment of eternal fire.^(C)

¹⁰ for the sexually immoral, for those practicing homosexuality, for slave traders and liars and perjurers—and for whatever else is contrary to the sound doctrine^(A)

²⁴ Therefore God gave them over^(A) in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another.^(B)

²² “‘Do not have sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman;^(A) that is detestable.^(B)

²³ “‘Do not have sexual relations with an animal and defile yourself with it. A woman must not present herself to an animal to have sexual relations with it; that is a perversion.^(C)

²⁴ “‘Do not defile yourselves in any of these ways, because this is how the nations that I am going to drive out before you^(D) became defiled.^{(E) 25} Even the land was defiled;^(F) so I punished it for its sin,^(G) and the land vomited out its inhabitants.^{(H) 26} But you must keep my decrees and my laws.^(I) The native-born and the foreigners residing among you must not do any of these detestable things, ²⁷ for all these things were done by the people who lived in the land before you, and the land became defiled. ²⁸ And if you defile the land,^(J) it will vomit you out^(K) as it vomited out the nations that were before you.

⁹ Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God?^(A) Do not be deceived:^(B) Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers^(C) nor men who have sex with men^[a](D)

¹⁹ Having lost all sensitivity,^(A) they have given themselves over^(B) to sensuality^(C) so as to indulge in every kind of impurity, and they are full of greed.

⁵ They called to Lot, “Where are the men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us so that we can have sex with them.”^(A)

²² While they were enjoying themselves,^(A) some of the wicked men^(B) of the city surrounded the house. Pounding on the door, they shouted to the old man who owned the house, “Bring out the man who came to your house so we can have sex with him.^(C)”
