²⁶ For this reason ^(A)God gave them up to ^(B)dishonorable passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature;

⁷ just as ^(A)Sodom and Gomorrah and ^(B)the surrounding cities, which likewise indulged in sexual immorality and ^(C)pursued unnatural desire,^[a] serve as an example by undergoing a punishment of eternal fire.

¹⁰ the sexually immoral, men who practice homosexuality, enslavers,^[a] liars, perjurers, and whatever else is contrary to ^(A)sound^[b] doctrine,

²⁴ Therefore ^(A)God gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, to ^(B)the dishonoring of their bodies among themselves,

^22 (A)You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination. ^23 (B)And you shall not lie with any animal and so make yourself unclean with it, neither shall any woman give herself to an animal to lie with it: it is ^(C)perversion.

^24 (D)“Do not make yourselves unclean by any of these things, ^(E)for by all these the nations I am driving out before you have become unclean, ²⁵ and the ^(F)land became unclean, so that I punished its iniquity, and the land ^(G)vomited out its inhabitants. ²⁶ But ^(H)you shall keep my statutes and my rules and do none of these abominations, either the ^(I)native or the stranger who sojourns among you ²⁷ (for the people of the land, who were before you, did all of these abominations, so that the land became unclean), ²⁸ lest the land vomit you out when you make it unclean, as it vomited out the nation that was before you.

⁹ Or do you not know that the unrighteous^[a] will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: ^(A)neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality,^[b]

¹⁹ They ^(A)have become callous and ^(B)have given themselves up to sensuality, greedy to practice every kind of impurity.
