²⁰ For ^(A)since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, that is, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ^(B)being understood by what has been made, so that they are without excuse.

The Jews under the Law

¹⁷ But if you call yourself a ^[a]Jew and ^(A)rely ^[b]upon the Law and boast in God,

¹⁰ as it is written:

²⁰ because ^(A)by the works ^[a]of the Law ^[b]none of mankind will be justified in His sight; for ^[c](B)through the Law comes ^[d]knowledge of sin.
