33 As it is written:
(A)“Behold, I lay in Zion a stumbling stone and rock of offense,
And (B)whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.”

7 Now to you who believe, this stone is precious. But to those who do not believe,(A)
8 and,
They stumble because they disobey the message—which is also what they were destined for.(E)
9 But you are a chosen people,(F) a royal priesthood,(G) a holy nation,(H) God’s special possession,(I) that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.(J)
