Romans 6:1-4
New King James Version
Dead to Sin, Alive to God
6 What shall we say then? (A)Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? 2 Certainly not! How shall we who (B)died to sin live any longer in it? 3 Or do you not know that (C)as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus (D)were baptized into His death? 4 Therefore we were (E)buried with Him through baptism into death, that (F)just as Christ was raised from the dead by (G)the glory of the Father, (H)even so we also should walk in newness of life.

Dead to Sin, Alive in Christ
6 What shall we say, then?(A) Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase?(B) 2 By no means! We are those who have died to sin;(C) how can we live in it any longer? 3 Or don’t you know that all of us who were baptized(D) into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? 4 We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death(E) in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead(F) through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.(G)
Romans 6:1-4
King James Version
6 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?
4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

12 (A)Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in its lusts. 13 And do not present your (B)members as [a]instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but (C)present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God. 14 For (D)sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace.

12 Therefore do not let sin reign(A) in your mortal body so that you obey its evil desires. 13 Do not offer any part of yourself to sin as an instrument of wickedness,(B) but rather offer yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer every part of yourself to him as an instrument of righteousness.(C) 14 For sin shall no longer be your master,(D) because you are not under the law,(E) but under grace.(F)
Romans 6:12-14
King James Version
12 Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.
13 Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.
14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.

New King James Version
17 But God be thanked that though you were slaves of sin, yet you obeyed from the heart (A)that form of doctrine to which you were [a]delivered. 18 And (B)having been set free from sin, you became slaves of righteousness. 19 I speak in human terms because of the weakness of your flesh. For just as you presented your members as slaves of uncleanness, and of lawlessness leading to more lawlessness, so now present your members as slaves of righteousness [b]for holiness.
20 For when you were (C)slaves of sin, you were free in regard to righteousness. 21 (D)What fruit did you have then in the things of which you are now ashamed? For (E)the end of those things is death. 22 But now (F)having been set free from sin, and having become slaves of God, you have your fruit [c]to holiness, and the end, everlasting life. 23 For (G)the wages of sin is death, but (H)the [d]gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

17 But thanks be to God(A) that, though you used to be slaves to sin,(B) you have come to obey from your heart the pattern of teaching(C) that has now claimed your allegiance. 18 You have been set free from sin(D) and have become slaves to righteousness.(E)
19 I am using an example from everyday life(F) because of your human limitations. Just as you used to offer yourselves as slaves to impurity and to ever-increasing wickedness, so now offer yourselves as slaves to righteousness(G) leading to holiness. 20 When you were slaves to sin,(H) you were free from the control of righteousness.(I) 21 What benefit did you reap at that time from the things you are now ashamed of? Those things result in death!(J) 22 But now that you have been set free from sin(K) and have become slaves of God,(L) the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life.(M) 23 For the wages of sin is death,(N) but the gift of God is eternal life(O) in[a] Christ Jesus our Lord.

King James Version
17 But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.
18 Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.
19 I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness.
20 For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness.
21 What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death.
22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.
23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
